You may be aware that I run a project that support You may be aware that I run a project that supports people to engage their creativity and live well. Last year we improved the lives of over 943 people through The Active Looking project. We offer activities that focus on deep looking and compassionate creativity. Because by doing so we can externalise our thoughts and think more positively about our lives. Every week someone tells me what we do works, this keeps our team going, because sometimes it's demanding. Cornwall is my home, it is the loveliest place, but rural lives often have complications. Poverty and deprivation lead to health inequalities, its easy to be isolated and difficult to find a home. Jobs are mainly in service industries, seasonal, short contracts. We have higher than average rates of suicide compared to the rest of the uk. We run out of funding in 2026, if we can raise money through this crowdfunder by the end of the month it will Kickstart a whole lot more funding. How it works We are just shy of £1000. If we make £1250 it will be doubled. If we make £2500 that will be doubled to 5k and give us enough turnover to engage with a larger philanthropist.
